In order to 'master' a times table, your child will need to complete all of its Learn and 60 Second Challenge questions.

It can take up to 10 times of completing Learn exercises to master a times table, depending on your child's ability and accuracy. They'll also need to score 15/15 in the final Learn exercise for a times table.

Once all of the Learn exercises have been completed, the 60 second Challenge will become available. This needs to be completed a minimum of three times.

In order to master a times table, both accuracy and the speed in answering questions is taken into account. A child will need to achieve a combined accuracy score of 90% on the last Learn exercise and the last two 60 Second Challenge exercises.

It's worth checking that the most up-to-date version of DoodleTables is being used.

Once your child has mastered all of their times tables, they'll all become unlocked. This means that they'll be able to freely access them to practice and retain their knowledge.

To lock or unlock particular tables, please follow the steps below:

When the child is logged into DoodleTables, tap the Menu icon in the top-left of the screen. Tap > Settings > Work Programme (you will need to complete the parental gate) > Restricted Tables.

Once you tap on this, you'll then be able to tap on each times tables and choose whether to lock or unlock it.
