If you'd like to duplicate your maths class as an English class (or vice versa) you can do this by using the Clone option.

  1. Login to the Teacher Dashboard

  2. Hover over Manage and select Classes & Groups

  3. Select the class you wish to clone by ticking the box next to the class' name

  4. At the top of the page a blue Clone button will appear, press this and then press OK

  5. Your school success advisor will then be notified and will give this class full access for you

Troubleshooting - what do do if you're experiencing problems

If you're struggling to clone a class, it is likely because there are students within your current class who are already in another class for whichever subject you are trying to clone the class for. For example, it may be that you're trying to clone your maths class as an English class but there is a student who has already been assigned an English class.

To resolve this:

  1. Hover over Manage and select Students

  2. Select your class from the drop down menu above

  3. From here, you will see a list of students within your class and which maths and English class they are currently assigned to (if you notice any students who are assigned a class they shouldn't be, it could be affecting you cloning the class)

  4. Tick the box next to the names of the students who you need to move out of an incorrect class (you can do multiple at once)

  5. Then from the Action menu above, select Move class > Apply

  6. Using the drop down menu, set them these students to No class and then select Move

  7. Once you've done this, follow the first set of steps above and you should be able to successfully clone the class!
