Option 1 - add a single account to an existing class
Login to the Teacher Dashboard
Select Manage, then Students.
Click on the blue Create student account(s) button.
Select Create a single student account
Enter the student details, choose a class from the drop down boxes and select Add
Make a note of the student username and password for your records.
Option 2 - add multiple accounts to an existing class
Login to the Teacher Dashboard
Select Manage then Students
Click on the blue Create student account(s) button
Select Create several student accounts
Select the class that you would like to add the students to and tap add students
Then, create a spreadsheet with three columns: first name, surname and date of birth. Copy and paste this into the box. Click Check, and the usernames and passwords will be created automatically. Then click on Submit, and finally Confirm.
A spreadsheet with the login details will be downloaded automatically. Make sure you save this somewhere secure for future reference as passwords will not be viewable on the Teacher Dashboard once the students have been created.
Option 3 - students add themselves using the class code
Login to the Teacher Dashboard
Go to Manage > Classes & groups and select the class that you would like the student to be in to view the class code, share the class code with the students.
The student needs to open the Doodle app and select Class code from school? Click here.
Then, click on I want to create an account for my child and enter the class code you provided. They should then follow the instructions within the app to create their account.
