Information about how to cancel

We are sorry if Doodle doesn't meet your needs. Before cancelling your subscription, please get in touch with us via the green chat bubble to see if there's anything we can do to resolve things or support you with making the most out of your subscription.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of payment, without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day you paid. To meet the cancellation deadline, please contact us requesting a cancellation of your subscription before the cancellation period has expired.

Annual Subscriptions

Your subscription will auto renew at the end of the current payment period and for annual auto renewals, we will send you a reminder near the time of auto renewal and we will also send you ‘cooling off notice’ on the date of auto-renewal, giving you 14 days from such date to cancel the subscription. If you do not wish to auto renew, you can cancel the contract at any time by any of the methods set out in the ‘How to cancel’ section below and that cancellation will take effect at the end of the current twelve month subscription period (if you cancel before the date of auto-renewal) or upon receipt of cancellation notice (if you cancel within the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period).

Monthly Subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with the ‘How to cancel’ section below and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current subscription period.


If you don’t cancel, your subscription will auto-renew for a further twelve month or one month period, as relevant. We will send you a reminder of an annual renewal nearer the time with details of how to cancel.


If you cancel your subscription within the 14 day cancellation period, we will reimburse to you all advance payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you cancel the subscription before the auto renewal, the contract will terminate at the end of your current payment period and no further fees will be payable. We do not offer refunds for unexpired portions of a payment period.

How to cancel

If you still wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so by any of the following methods:

  • By email or post: Send us notification in writing to: The DoodleLearning Cancellation Team, Discovery Education, 9 Palace Yard Mews, Bath BA1 2NH, UK or by email to of your decision to cancel this contract, including your details, the email address that the account is linked to, the product/s ordered, the date of ordering and your name and address;

  • By On-line Cancellation Form: Electronically fill in and submit the model cancellation form on our website. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (eg by e-mail) without delay;

  • On Parent Dashboard: Follow these instructions for cancelling your subscription on the Parent Dashboard

If you decide you'd like to come back to Doodle at any point, it is really easy to continue with your account and pick up where you left off 😄

If you took the subscription out through an external app provider (Apple, Amazon, or Google), we are unable to cancel these subscriptions for you. Please follow these links to find out how to cancel directly through them:
