Between the 1st July and the 31st August, we invite learners to join one or both of our Summer Challenges -- the DoodleMaths Challenge and the DoodleEnglish Challenge!

Designed to encourage a few minutes of daily Doodling, the Summer Challenge promotes healthy learning habits and builds each child’s confidence, helping to spark their love of learning.

Most excitingly, all those who complete the challenge will earn a FREE in-app badge, a real-life pin badge and an exclusive downloadable certificate, available for download from the Teacher Dashboard, to celebrate their hard work!

The challenges will run from Monday 1st July to Saturday 31st August. The last day to start the challenges will be on Sunday 18th August (as one requirement is Doodling for 14 days).

Children need to earn 750 stars (or 600 stars if they were born on or after 01/09/16) and use DoodleMaths and /or DoodleEnglish for 14 days* between the 1st of July-31st of August. Parents at home can keep track of their child's progress by downloading our free tracker sheet.

*These 14 days don’t need to be in a row. A day of use is defined as completing at least one exercise between 0:01 and 23:59.

Children with school subscriptions or home subscriptions in DoodleMaths and/ or DoodleEnglish can take part. To take part, parents just need to register their child in the challenge and then, once completed, claim their child's reward. More information on how parents can register for the challenge or claim their child's reward can be found here.

Students' rewards will be sent to your school once the Challenge has come to an end.

Tracking Progress

Students can track their progress in a couple of ways:

  • In DoodleMaths or DoodleEnglish, visit the Learning Zone and take a look at the Summer Challenge gauge in the left-hand corner to see how close they are to their target.

  • Press on the arrow icon in the top left-hand corner of the Learning Zone and press on Badges. The gauge beneath the Summer Challenge badge will show your child's progress towards their goal!

Although there is no requirement for this, we love to see what you've been getting up to! Let us know how you're getting on by using the hashtag #DoodleMathsChallenge or #DoodleEnglishChallenge on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!

For more information, please see our Summer Challenge webpage, our Summer Challenge FAQs, or reach out to our customer success team who are available to contact via the green chat bubble in the bottom right hand corner of our website or the Parent Dashboard.

Happy Doodling!
