Within the Progress page, you are able to see how your pupils’ Doodle Age has changed over time and also the % of End of Year objectives covered. To view your class' progress data:

  • Go to Analyse > Progress

  • Select your class

  • Choose the measure - % of End of Year Objectives covered or DoodleAge (if selection the EoY Objectives, also select which year group you'd like to view this for)

  • Choose your star and end date and then press the blue Search button

A graph will appear below. A blue bar (or purple for DoodleEnglish) shows an increase whereas a red bar shows a decrease. This is because of reassessment.

To view data for different subjects, be sure to click on the corresponding icon at the top right of the dashboard. For more information on how to do this, please see this article.

Doodle Age is a way of measuring your student's overall level of understanding. If a child has a Doodle Age of 7.5, they will be working at the level of an average 7-and-a-half year old. We calculate this by looking at the point your child is in their work program in terms of the questions they are currently being asked. We then compare this to the average age of other children in our system who are at a similar point in their program. Click on a child’s bar, followed view, to see their progress compared to their age.

End of Year Objectives shows the percentage of end of year objectives which have been covered by each student. Click on a child’s bar, followed view, to see more information. It is important to note that as Doodle is designed to fill in gaps it will revise and revisit learning from previous year groups - so don't be alarmed if you see that your students are covering work from previous year groups to the one they are in. This is to be expected.

You can export this data as a spreadsheet by clicking on the Export button in the top right hand corner of the page. This is great for progress review meetings.
