X-a-day

What is it?

An X-a-day is the orange bubble your child will see when they sign into their Learning Zone in both DoodleMaths and DoodleEnglish👇

It is a set number of daily questions depending on their age and ability. As you can see by the example above, this student has 6 questions a day to complete their daily Doodles. Of course they can choose to complete more than one round of questions a day if they wish.

We call it the X-a-day because the number of questions depends on certain factors like DoodleAge and other work that has been completed. This number will increase as the child moves through the programme, and will change at a fixed and specific DoodleAge. The lowest is 5-a-day and the highest is 10-a-day, however students can complete as many X-a-day activities as they want to in one day.

How does my child/student progress?

Your child's X-a-day will go up as they progress through the programme by completing their daily doodles little and often. We recommend just 10 minutes a day for your child to see significant progress and growth across all four of our programmes.
