If the student is finding things too easy or too difficult you need to set a new baseline assessment

If you think your student's account is not at an appropriate level for them (or if they haven't used it for a while) they may need to do a reassessment (previously known as recalibration). Don't worry, they won't lose any of their hard earned DoodleStars! The baseline assessment just reassess the account to ensure it is working at the right level for them.

Please login to the Teacher Dashboard and follow these steps:

  1. Select Work programmes > view understanding

  2. Select your class

  3. Click Start New Baseline with whole class and select the student/students you'd like to reassess.

  4. OR, select the student's name on the left hand side and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Set baseline to start a baseline assessment for just that student

If a child is working well below their actual age, we recommend setting their month and year of birth to reflect this and then starting a new baseline assessment.

For more information on baseline assessment and how it works please see here.
