DoodleTables works in a different way to our other apps. Whilst there is a progressive national curriculum throughout primary school for spelling, English and maths, times tables are an element of the maths curriculum that simply need to be learnt between years 2 and 5 in England. Usually, children will progress through the DoodleTables app in a few months. Consequently, we measure progress in DoodleTables in a different way: simply by which times tables the child has successfully mastered so far.
You can see this most easily via the Analyse > Understanding page of the Parent Dashboard. An 'm' within a green circle in the Understanding column means that your child has mastered that particular times table.
If there is a times table that your child has yet to master, you can now set certain tables that you would like your child to work on, just like other assignments via the Parent or Teacher Dashboard. To do this go to Assignments > Set and the list of tables will appear as seen below.
You can then click set, then choose which child and when you would like it to appear in their Learning Zone. Then they should be good to go!
