How is Doodle accessible for all users?

At Doodle, we believe every child should have access to learning that works for them. As an education company founded by teachers, accessibility is an important part of how we design and develop our products.

Our learning programmes adapt to each child's individual ability level, helping to ensure that activities are appropriately challenging without becoming overwhelming. This personalised approach helps children build confidence and make steady progress at their own pace.

To support a wide range of learning needs, we've built several accessibility features into our apps:

Question and help screens are designed to be simple and easy to navigate, with minimal clutter, movement, and unnecessary distractions.

Text automatically adjusts to the largest possible size on a child's device, helping to improve readability.

Questions and explanations can be read aloud using natural-sounding text-to-speech technology, giving children extra support when reading independently.

Children can choose coloured overlays for question screens. These may be helpful for some children with visual impairments, dyslexia, or Irlen syndrome.
