Enter your class into the Back-to-School Competition in DoodleMaths, DoodleTables, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell for your chance to win a bundle of educational goodies worth £75!
This year, for the first time, we're including DoodleTables in the Challenge as well 🎉
By taking part, your pupils will be incentivised to complete their 10 minutes of daily Doodling. It's a great way to get your students back into the habit of Doodling regularly and to be in with a chance of winning a some exciting prizes!
Encourage every pupil in your class to be working in the green zone (by achieving their target number of stars) for 14 consecutive days from Friday the 19th January to Friday the 2nd February.
The class with the highest % of children in the green zone for each programme will win! In the event of multiple classes achieving 100% of pupils on target, we’ll select one class at random to be the winner for that subject.
We're running four competitions: one for DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish, DoodleTables and DoodleSpell:
🌟 1st prize will be a £75 box of games for each programme – DoodleMaths, DoodleTables, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell!
🌟 There will also be 8 additional runners up prizes, each worth £25 - these will be awarded to the classes with the next highest percentage of pupils on target in DoodleMaths, DoodleTables, DoodleEnglish or DoodleSpell.
Students will also be able to earn an in-app badge for reaching their target - it will automatically unlock if they are in the green zone on both the 26th January and the 2nd February.
How to register your class
Registration opens on Friday the 12th January. Be sure to register your classes by 23:59pm on Thursday 18th January – this can be done quickly and easily through the Teacher Dashboard by following these steps:
On the homepage of the Teacher Dashboard you will see the Back-to-School Competition tile
Press Add classes
A box will then appear asking you which classes you would like to enter. Tick the box next to the name of the classes you'd like to enter or tick All maths classes. Be sure to toggle to the different subjects along the top to enter you classes in the different competitions.
Then press Submit Maths/English/Tables/Spell class entries
You will then see a confirmation box appear
Be sure to register for each competition (DoodleMaths, DoodleTables, DoodleEnglish, DoodleSpell) if you would like your class to take part in more than one! Simply click on the programme names at the top.
During the Challenge
Encourage your students to Doodle little and often to stay in their green zone. Why not print off our ‘Are you in your green zone?’ poster as a reminder for your classroom?
Visit the Teacher Dashboard to view the percentage of students in your class in the green zone. You can view this by class by looking in the Top Doodlers section of the Teacher Dashboard:
And, you can view which students in your class are working in their green zone by visiting Work programmes > View effort

There is no minimum class size - as this is a class competition, we welcome entries from classes of all sizes!
We recommend not starting any new baseline assessments during the competition, as this will prevent your pupils from collecting their stars before they complete the assessment.
