Enter your class into the Back-to-School Competition in DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell for your chance to win a bundle of educational goodies worth £75!
By taking part, your pupils will be incentivised to complete their 10 minutes of daily Doodling, helping to fill gaps in their knowledge and prevent learning loss.
Encourage every pupil in your class to be working in the green zone (by achieving their target number of stars) for 14 consecutive days from Friday the 22nd of September to Thursday the 5th of October.
All children who are in the green zone for the duration of the Challenge will receive a very special virtual in app back to school challenge badge! The class with the highest % of children in the green zone will win! In the event of multiple classes achieving 100% of pupils on target, we’ll select one class at random to be the winner for that subject.
We're running three competitions: one for DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell:
🌟 1st prize will now be a £75 box of games for each programme – DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish and DoodleSpell
🌟 10 additional runners up prizes of £30 of games will be awarded to the highest percentages across the programmes
How to register you class
We've made it even easier to register you classes for the Challenge. Simply head to the Teacher Dashboard and follow these steps:
On the homepage of the Teacher Dashboard you will see the Back-to-School Competition tile
Press Add classes
A box will then appear asking you which classes you would like to enter. Tick the box next to the name of the classes you'd like to enter or tick All maths classes. Be sure to toggle to the different subjects along the top to enter you classes in the different competitions.
Then press Submit Maths/English/Spell class entries
You will then see a confirmation box appear
During the Challenge
Visit the Teacher Dashboard to view the percentage of students in your class in the green zone.
You can view this by class by looking in the Top Doodlers section of the Teacher Dashboard:
And, you can view which students in your class are working in their green zone by visiting Work programmes > View effort
Please note:
You will need a premium Doodle subscription in that subject to take part
There is no minimum class size - as this is a class competition, we welcome entries from classes of all sizes!
We recommend not starting any new baseline assessments during the competition, as this will prevent your pupils from collecting their stars before they complete the assessment.
