When a student leaves the school, or if they have duplicate accounts and you need to remove one, you should archive them. To do this log in to the Teacher Dashboard and follow these steps:
Head to Manage > students
Search the students name in the Student search box on the right hand side
Tick the box next to their name
From the Select action drop down menu above select Archive followed by Confirm
If you wish to archive multiple students, select the class they are in from the drop down menu under Class
Then tick the box at the top and a tick will appear next to all students' names
Then select Archive from the Select action menu above
What to do if you archive a student by mistake?
Don't worry! It's really easy to unarchive a student you have archived by mistake.
Head to Manage > students
From the class drop down menu select Archived students and then search the student's name in the Student search bar on the right hand side
Once you have found them click on the pencil icon under Edit
Remove them from archived by clicking on the X icon next to Archived students and search for the class, or classes, you wish to add them to in the Classes box.
Be sure to press the yellow Save once you have done this.
