Due to GDPR you will not be able to download login slips with existing passwords for your students. Because Doodle gathers personalised information about children's levels, our founders feel it's important we comply with higher levels of security to make sure students' data is secure.
This does mean that you won't be able to view students' passwords on the Dashboard after the accounts are created and the login files downloaded. The list of student logins will have downloaded automatically when the accounts were created. It may help to check your Downloads folder in case it is still there. We recommend login slips are saved to your device at the point of creation.
You can regenerate new passwords and download the login slips. These will have your students' existing usernames and new passwords on them.
To do this, login to the Teacher Dashboard and follow these steps:
Hover over Manage and select Students
Select the class
To regenerate login slips for the whole class, select the top most tick box and a little tick will appear next to all students' names. If you wish to download the login slip for just one child, tick the box next to that child's name.
In the Action menu at the top of the page you will then see an option to Regenerate Passwords / Login Slips. Select Apply.
You will then have an option to reset and regenerate passwords so they are different or give every child the same password
Please note that this will create them a brand new password, so be sure to notify the child of their new password as soon as you do this!
