All reading comprehensions will now be available as Assignments!
Reading comprehensions will no longer be available through your child's main work programme (e.g. their X a day, New). Instead, these can be set as an Assignment.
The reason for this change is to make way for even more new and exciting grammar and punctuation concepts.
The good news is that reading comprehensions can still be added to your child's account from the Teacher Dashboard or from Learning Zone.
From the Teacher Dashboard:
You can find reading comprehension Assignments by heading to Assignments > Set page. Ensure you select the purple DoodleEnglish icon in the top right hand corner of the page. Then, from the search bar at the top, type 'comprehension'. These types of assignments are indicated with a purple book icon next to them.
From the Learning Zone:
Login to the DoodleEnglish app. Tap on the red Assignment icon from your student's Learning Zone. Search 'comprehension' and all available reading comprehensions for the student will be shown.
Select the arrow next to the Assignment you would like your student to complete.
You can then choose to 'Complete now' or 'Complete later'.
