Link your child's school to their home user account

It’s really important that your child can keep their hard-earned DoodleStars and retain all their progress data, that is so informative when developing their work programme. Fortunately, it’s really easy to link their home user account to their new school account.

Please note we are unable to merge accounts on the platform. We can add the stars and streak from one to the other but not transfer the badges or the progress they have made on their account.

Step 1 - update the school through the Parent Dashboard

  1. Please login to the Parent Dashboard

  2. Hover over My account and click on Child details

  3. Select your child’s name on the left hand side

  4. Click on the box next to School and start typing their school name until it appears in the list. Check the school postcode to make sure it is the correct school.

  5. Press Save changes

Step 2 - over to the teacher

Once you have done step 1 it is important to let your child’s class teacher know that you have linked their account to the school.

The teacher will see your child's name listed under Linked students on their Teacher Dashboard. Ask the teacher to verify them, move them to the correct class and archive any school accounts they may have created for them.
