If a student moves to another class, and at the end/start of a school year, it's important to update the class showing on their account. There are two ways to do this:
Option 1: Teachers can edit the child's class
Log in to the Teacher Dashboard and hover over Manage, then select Students
Select the class the student is currently in from the drop down at the top
Tick the box next to the name of the student you would like to move into a different class (you can select more that one student at a time or you can click on the box at the top to select all students in that class)
From Actions, select Move Class
Choose the class that you would like them to be in and select Apply
Option 2: Students can edit the class themselves
Log in to the Teacher Dashboard and go to Manage, then Classes & Groups
Tap on the pencil icon in the Edit column for the class you wish to edit and an Edit class box will appear. You will see the class code here. You can then share this code with your class
3. Ask each student to visit Doodle and when they go to login select I have a class code from school
4. They then need to select My child already has an account and then enter the class code you provided and their existing username and password - they will then be linked to their new class
