When using DoodleLearning apps, you might be asked to enter either a password or a PIN. While both help keep your account secure, they work in slightly different ways. Here's what you need to know:

βœ… What is a Password?

A password is a secret word or phrase that you create to protect your account. It’s usually:

  • At least 6 characters or more

  • Unique to you – you choose it when you set up your account

πŸ”’ Example:

What are Passwords Used for in Doodle?

Passwords are needed to log into your Doodle account. You will use this alongside your username. For a parent the username will be your email address.

Password Problems

  • Passwords and usernames are case sensitive, so please check that you are entering the details correctly.

  • If you have forgotten your parent password please reset it using this link.

  • If your child has forgotten their password and you're linked to your child's account, you can reset your child's password via the Parent Dashboard. The instructions in this article will help.

  • If your child has a school account and you are unlinked, please speak to their class teacher who will be able to provide the login details.

βœ… What is a PIN?

A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a short numeric code, it needs to be:

  • 6 digits long

  • memorable but not something too obvious like 1234

πŸ”’ Example:

482939

What are PINS Used for in Doodle?

The PINS are required in the apps to be able to access certain areas that are restricted to children, you can find information about where you will need to enter the PIN here.
