If your child has lost their hard earned streak after an unexpected break - don't worry! There are a few options available for them to get their streak back!

Streak saver

When your child logs into the app and lands on the Learning Zone a message will appear to them that Doodle is saving their streak, to get back on track you child will need to:

  1. Select I'm ready to Doodle

  2. Choose the activity that they would like to complete

Once they have completed the work, they will see that their streak has been restored!

Home subscription

Parents now have the ability to reinstate a child's streak from their Parent Dashboard account 🌟

To reinstate a child's streak, parents need to:

  1. Sign into your Parent Dashboard account

  2. Select Analyse > Effort from the top menu

  3. Click Reinstate streak from the streak box in the bottom left-hand corner of the page

An edit box will appear, showing the current streak and highest ever streak. It will not be possible to update a child's streak to a number higher than the number of days the account has been active.

Once the streak has been reinstated, a confirmation will be shown as well as a reminder that the child will need to complete work on their account in order for the change to take effect.

Please note, you must have a premium home subscription to be able to reinstate the streak.

School subscription

If your child has lost their streak, and is unable to use the streak saver, please get in touch with your child's class teacher and request for their streak to be reinstated. The class teacher will have the ability to reinstate the streak from their Teacher Dashboard account.
