Doodle's intelligent algorithm creates a personalised work programme that's tailored to your child's current level of understanding. To ensure it continues to set questions at the right level, it's important that your child completes their Doodling independently.
If a child receives help while answering questions, the algorithm may assume they are ready for more advanced content and move them on before they're ready. Working independently helps Doodle accurately identify what they know and what they need to practice next.
What should I do if my child is stuck?
If your child is struggling with a question, encourage them to use Doodle's in-app Help feature first. This is designed to guide them towards the answer without affecting the accuracy of their learning programme.
If they've used the Help feature and are still finding the question difficult, ask them to save it to their Tricky Questions list. Once a question has been saved, you can work through it together without impacting their work programme.
