How can my child access and log in to Doodle?

Should I download the Doodle apps or use the browser versions? What are the log in options?

Accessing Doodle

Downloadable app

You can use DoodleMaths, DoodleEnglish, DoodleTables and DoodleSpell on the following phones and tablets;

  • Apple: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch

  • Android: Samsung, HTC, Google, Huawei, Motorola

  • Amazon: Kindle Fire

The minimum OS versions required are Android 5.0, Fire OS 5 and iOS 12

(Unfortunately Doodle is not available on an iPad4, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1", Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0" and Kindle Fire HDX).

If you are using a tablet you will need to download the app, you will be able to do this by clicking on this link: Doodle apps

Browser version

You can also access all of our programmes using a Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser on any desktop or laptop computer. You will be able to access these here:

Please note, if you are using a PC, laptop or Chromebook you won't be able to download the apps, but can use the browser versions which have the same functionality as our downloadable apps.

Logging in to Doodle

When logging in to your account it is important to check that you are logging in as the correct user. On the login page you will be given the option to log in as:

  • Parent

  • Student

Please select Parent if you are logging in as a parent, using your email address and the password that you created when you set up the account.

Please select Student if you are logging in as a student, using your child's username and password that were created when you set up their account.

Passwords and usernames are case sensitive, so please check that you are entering the details correctly.


Problems logging in?

Forgotten username/password:

  • If you have forgotten your parent password please reset it using this link.

  • If your child has forgotten their password and you're linked to your child's account, you can reset your child's password via the Parent Dashboard. The instructions in this article will help.

  • If your child has a school account and you are unlinked, please speak to their class teacher to find out the login details.

Activating a new account

If you have only just created an account and are seeing an error message, you may have not yet activated your account. Please search your inbox for an email providing an activation link. If you're still struggling, please send us a message via the chat bubble and we'll be more than happy to help!

Region toggle

If you are receiving an error message when trying to log into your account, please check your region, ensuring that you are toggled onto the correct country flag for your region.

Please note: the region toggle is only available on the downloadable DoodleMaths app when using a mobile device or tablet.
