Once student accounts are created, their login details are automatically downloaded in a file. For security reasons, passwords are not stored in a viewable format on the system. This prevents unauthorised access and ensures that student data remains protected.
To check whether login slips have already been saved to your device, look for the following files in your downloads folder or saved documents:
Doodle_login_details
Doodle_login_slips
Doodle_login_cards
If you're unable to access the original login slips, you'll need to regenerate them from the Teacher Dashboard. Please note that regenerating login slips will reset students' passwords—meaning they will no longer be able to log in using their previous credentials.
We recommend only doing this when you're ready to share the new passwords with your students, to avoid any disruption to their access. Resetting passwords is a secure and effective way to manage logins, and it's considered good practice to refresh them at the start of each academic year.
For instructions on how to regenerate the login slips, please see here.
If you're having trouble downloading the login slips, make sure your device settings allow multiple file downloads. This is often required to successfully retrieve all login files.
