What is a Streak Saver?

A streak saver allows students to take a break of up to 14 days without losing their streak 🎉. It’s a great way to support healthy habits while maintaining motivation.

How to Check Streaks and Streak Saver Usage on the Teacher Dashboard

Follow these steps to view a student’s current streak and whether they’ve used a streak saver:

  1. Log in to the Teacher Dashboard

  2. Go to Work programme > View effort

  3. Select the relevant class from the dropdown menu

  4. Tap the correct subject icon in the top right corner

  5. Look at the Streak column to see each student’s current streak

  6. Hover over the streak saver icon (next to the streak) to view:

    • How many streak savers have been used

    • How many days have been saved

You’ll also see the streak saver icon appear in the table under the date it was used.

Key Things to Know

  • Students can hold up to two streak savers at a time.

  • Streak savers cannot be used back-to-back, so the maximum break a student can take is 14 days.

  • A streak saver can be used before or after a break—once the student completes some work, the streak saver will activate and restore their streak ✨.
